Hostas you receive from us will be larger than most mail-order offerings. The plants you will receive are exactly the same ones that our walk-in retail customers can come in and pick out; they are top quality. We get reports back from our customers that our hostas are twice as big as what they receive from other companies, and that the plants establish themselves and continue their growth much faster than those from other companies.
 

It is with regret that we at Hilltop Farm must announce some changes to our mail-order policy this year. For 2010 we will not be printing a hosta catalog, but will instead post a downloadable hosta price list here on our website. For pictures of the hostas on our price list we recommend browsing through the Hosta Library; descriptions are available from the Lemke Database.

We do not particularly like having to make these changes to our mail order policy, but we have determined that these changes are nonetheless necessary. We appreciate your understanding.
 

Please note the following changes to our mail-order policy:

• Minimum order is 5 plants.

• Shipping is not included in the plant price (consequently, you will find many prices significantly reduced from last year). Listed prices for mail order are now the same as for walk-in customers here at the farm. For mail order, please add $5 per quart pot and $7 per gallon pot for shipping. All hostas are shipped in their pots.

• We will be shipping orders only on the following weeks: 4/5, 4/12, 4/26, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7, and 6/21. After 6/21, please call for availability.

Please note the things that have not changed:

• We still ship the same great quality plants we always have.

• Plants are still shipped in their pots, via priority mail.

• We still take Visa or MasterCard, but prefer check or money order. If paying by credit card, please call your order in so we can get all the required information.

• Missouri residents must add 5.475% sales tax.

We are set up to accept MasterCard and Visa. If you wish to purchase with a credit card, please place your order by telephone so we can get all the required information.

When ordering, please include the following information:

• Name, address, phone number, and email address
  
• Shipping address, if different from above
  
• Item variety and pots size (please be specific to avoid confusion)
  
• List quantities for each item
  
• A list of substitutes would be helpful
  
• Remember to add shipping and handling ($5 per quart pot and $7 per gallon pot)
  
• Missouri residents please add 5.475% sales tax
  
• Please mention the week you would like to receive your plants
  
• Please include payment, either check or money order.

Our Midwestern location allows the plants we ship to arrive quickly (2-3 days) to any point in the country. We use Priority Mail exclusively; shipping only on Mondays or Tuesdays, allowing your plants to arrive before the weekend.
 

We are conveniently located in the center of the country for short Priority Mail shipping times to any place in the USA!
