Knock Out Roses –
The Self-Sufficient Rose

These roses aren’t Prima Donnas like most roses are. Rather, they are vigorous, disease-resistant, and easy to grow.

Height:
2 ˝’ to 3’ tall and wide

Blooms:
Single cerise (Knock Out), single hot pink (Pink Knock Out), single fragrant yellow (Sunny Knock Out), double cerise (Double Knock Out), and double hot pink (Double Pink Knock Out). All varieties bloom all summer.

Similar varieties:
We include other series of roses here, because of their similar easy and care:

  • Drift Roses’ are single flowered and come in various colors. These roses are very low growing, “ground-cover” roses.

  • Romantica’s are reminiscent of the old English roses but are repeat bloomers. Real rose fragrance!

  • Outta the Blue’ is a new rose with “blue” blooms and good fragrance.

  • Then there are ‘White Out’ (the closest thing to a white single Knock Out), ‘Home Run’ (the closest thing to a true red single Knock Out), and the ‘Veranda’s (great in pots)

Fragrance:
Slight tea rose fragrance

Foliage:
Glossy, disease-resistant

Uses:
Beds (fully hardy) and containers. (Over winter containers in a cold garage, watering once per month while dormant.)
